I've been looking for a simple-to-use male masturbator since many years ago.
So, when Lelo launched its light-weighted F1S V2A, it caught my attention.
After giving this toy some trials, I am here to share my reviews with you.

What is Lelo F1s V2?
To put it simply, Lelo F1s V2 is a male masturbator. But not merely a masturbator.
It is a male masturbator with 10 cutting-edge performance censors that gives you a hyper-realistic feel at 63 sonic waves per second.
You must be wondering what are sonic waves? It’s the same principle that Lelo Sona Cruise clitoral stimulator applies.
Instead of conventional vibrations, F1S uses specialized dual motors to create sonic waves, so it feels like standing in front of a powerful speaker, you can feel it throughout your body, or in this case, your penis.
The mentioned Cruise Control is also something that is exclusive to Lelo and that no other competitor (e.g. Fleshlight) has.
The F1S also connects to your Smartphone so you can enjoy apps, including the LELO-developed app, games, VR and AR and videos, and build your own. It can also be used on its own, without the app.
Besides, it's possible to control the the toy from a distance, and it can connect to your phone through Bluetooth.
Talking about partner play; The F1S has a window, allowing the user and partner to see it in action inside for a sexy new visual dimension.
For example, your partner can take your phone and control the F1S for you.
Key Features of Lelo F1s Developer’s Kit
1. Perfect Size & Ideal Elasticity
Lelo F1s measures about 5.5 inches (143mm) in total length and about 2.8 inches (71mm) in circumference.
It has an insertable length of just under 4.5 inches (111 mm).
The insertable part has a strong elasticity - the F1s’ silicone sleeve has a depth of 4.5 inches (11 cm) & a diameter of 2 inches (5cm).
This means that your entire penis can be wrapped for stimulation.
2. Premium Materials Guarantees Safety and Comfort
The silicone sleeve is enclosed in an ABS and aluminum alloy casing. All of these materials are completely body-safe.
They do not contain phthalates or any other harmful chemicals, so you don’t have to worry about any material-related allergy breakouts when using the Lelo F1S.
Besides, the ultra-smooth silicone sleeve is shaped to fit like a glove and features curved internal grooves in all the right places.
3. Unique Stimulation From “Cruise Control” and “Sensonic Technology”
Sensetouch Technology allows vibrations to start on contact with the skin before building smoothly to stimulate tissue at different levels, thus stimulating professional massage techniques and many toys on the market experience a decline in intensity when they are being pressed against your body.
This is where the Cruise Control feature comes into play and what makes this item so special.
When it’s pressed hard against your body it won’t drop its power, which will keep the intensity consistent automatically.
4. Dual Motors for Multiplied Pleasure
F1S V2 uses dual motors to create its signature SenSonic technology.
One motor emits sonic waves that permeate deep into your penis, while the other powers the device sensors and delivers conventional vibrations that combine with the sonic waves for an entirely new sensation.
At this point, you must be wondering how do sonic waves and vibrations feel like?
It's easy to understand vibrations, which is a type of high-frequency movement that will provide deep tissue stimulation.
Comparing to conventional vibrations, the specialized motor for sonic waves feels like standing in front of a powerful speaker, you can feel it throughout your body.
5. Light Yet Effective
F1s is the lightest male masturbator I've ever owned. It weighs only 286.9g (10 oz), which is like holding 3 lemons at hand.
Yet, the stimulation from F1s doesn't compromise. The 10 sensors provide an unbelievably strong experience, making the masturbation process divine and addicting.
6. Long-Lasting Battery
Probably due to its lightness, the battery on F1s is also more lasting than other masturbators.
It will take around 2 hours to finish a full charge and after each charge, the F1s can last continuously 2h even if constantly connected with the app.
Besides, this toy can handle 90 days of standby time.
7. 100% Waterproof
The waterproof feature comes handy no matter whether you fancy some wet play or simply want to clean the toy easily.
8. Lock Your F1s to Avoid Unintended Activation
I know some people like to take your sex toys when traveling. I am one of these people. Nothing is more embarrassing than an unintended activation in public.
Whose luggage is buzzing? Yea, mine... The lock function will totally save you from this kind of awkwardness.
How to Use Lelo F1s Red?
There are two ways to use the F1s toy, either
- 1) directly control the toy with the 3-buttons, or
- 2) connect the F1s for app-controls.
No matter which way you choose, you will need to charge the toy for 2 hours before your first use.
The charging is simple, just insert the DC plug into the DC port at the top of your F1s and insert the USB cable on your laptop, voila!
The LED on the interface of your F1s will pulse to indicate it is charging. When it is fully charged the LED will emit a steady glow.
Tips: Please only use original chargers provided by LELO with your F1s, otherwise, it may take more than 2 hours to get a full charge, or even damage the devices.
Once charged, you may press the power button to activate the toy and you can adjust the intensity to your liking by pressing the + or - buttons.
This toy is quite intuitive to use.
If you would like to do the app control. Simply do a long press (around 3 seconds) on the power button to trigger the Bluetooth pairing mode.
Once your F1S is successfully paired, you will be able to control the toy and track your performance in real-time with the app.
Once more thing, there's a shooting game in the App, you can play the game with your penis. It is really fun!
Some More Information About the LELO F1S App
The Demo app was launched in 2019 and it was quite a raw beta version. Lelo has made some improvement for the app. Now, it has an officIal version, called "LELO F1S".
You can control the F1s device directly from your smartphone, adjust the intensity, cycle through the modes, and access the exclusive LELO Cruise Control function.
You can also measure progress, speed, and direction while using the toy.
Besides, the app can show the statistics of the device and vibrations intensities.
Another interesting function is that you can check the temperature of the device and see gyroscopic information
If you are one of these guys who are into tech stuff, then you can download the SDK and join a community of developers to build the sextech experience of your own.
In the developer SDK, you will be able to explore functions such as connecting to VR content. I am not a tech guy, so, I leave you to discover the possibilities.

My Experience with Lelo F1s Developer’s Kit
My girlfriend gave this masturbator to me as a gift because we are in a long-distance relationship and she wants to control the toy with the app from her end. That didn't work out very well, but I still tried the toy.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from the Lelo F1S because I've tried multiple masturbators and none of them actually provided me a truly mind-blowing orgasm.
Most male masturbators are bulky and heavy, and it could be tedious to clean after each use.
To my surprise, Lelo F1s is quite different. I am not saying that it's a perfect toy, but at least it is a lot lighter than any of the other masturbators I've tried (e.g. Kiiroo, fleshlight).
This is great in my opinion because masturbation finally doesn't have to feel like weight-lifting!
There are some free lubricant samples that come with the toy, so I grabbed one and applied a generous amount of the lube inside the toy and some on my penis. It was really easy and comfortable to enter.
Actually, it was easier and smoother than any other masturbator I've used.
There are two types of sensations you can expect from this toy - squeeze and vibration.
During my first trial, I didn't use the app-control. It was really intuitive to use, there are only 3 buttons to choose - power button, + and - buttons.
Once you turn the toy on, both the squeeze and vibration sensations will be activated.
Then, all you need to do is to adjust the intensity to your liking. I had my first orgasm with F1S in just 5 minutes and it was really pleasant.
I personally like to have some up and down movements during masturbation, so I only applied the toy to the top half of my penis.
For those of you who prefer to cover the entire penis, it's also possible to do.
As this claims to be an App-controllable masturbator, I decided to give the app a try.
With the app, It's possible more choices for what kind of sensation to use - only squeezing, only vibration or both.
However, my encounter with the app is terrible. I experienced plenty of disconnections while using the app and I don't even know why it got disconnected.
That was a true mood killer. So, I really don't think the app added any value to the toy. I am looking forward to an improved version from Lelo.
Note: I contacted Lelo regarding the connectivity issue. And they replied, "There should be no connectivity issues at all! and It depends entirely on the bluetooth connection.
If you’re having trouble, switch your Bluetooth off and then on again to try reconnecting. Close then restart the LELO app." I did what they suggested, but still experienced some disconnections.
Besides, I do have a design-related complaint about this toy.
I like the overall look - simple and modern and functions wonderfully. However, I truly don't think it's an ideal toy for all men.
The sleeve is a bit short and not that stretchable. Therefore, for some of you, I may only cover 2/3 of the penis. And if you have a good girthy dick, this size won't even work.
To conclude, I think F1S V2 is a handy toy, which can assist you to have an effortless masturbation.
However, for a similar price, I do think devices like Kiiroo Keon and Lovense Max are more attractive, especially for those of you who are looking for a good video and VR experience.
Differences Between Lelo F1S V2A and F1S Prototype?
the F1s V2A is an upgraded version of the F1s Prototype with some minor changes.
There are no change to the physical look, but some fine-tune to the sensation.
Firstly, there are some upgrades to the FREE app (called "LELO F1S") and its functionality as well as adjustability.
This app is considered as a pleasure console and the goal to level up the performance.
The F1S V2 also features Lelo's patent Sensonic technology and Cruise Control which provides a different sensation to the F1S Prototype.
According to Lelo, it has 2* powerful motors and an added flexible sleeve and it can provide deeper and more thorough stimulation.
However, as someone who owes both toys, I sincerely didn't notice a big difference when it comes to sensation.
That being said, if you are interested in trying F1s but want to save a few bucks, I wouldn't say it's necessary to get the upgraded version.

Despite some imperfections and the fact that this type of sexual activity will not please everyone, Lelo F1s V2 is pleasant, very well finished and deserve to be purchased.
It's not easy to tell in advance if you'll like the styles of F1S V2 as male masturbators, in general, take some time and effort to get used to.
However, it is certain that Lelo F1S V2 is positioned among the most unique in its market and succeeds in the feat of integrating high-tech to male pleasure.

Let me tell you of my journey with the black prototype product.
It arrived and as the quick start instructed I plugged it in to charge. The plug didn’t go all the way into the device, there was about 2mm sticking out of the plug hole after it bottomed out. WTF?!? Not a good first impression. Instructions said the light would pulse and it did. Later I found out that it was going into pairing mode, not charging. When charging a dim light will walk around the outside ring and the “pulsing” is each light lighting up in turn. Plug fully inserted, so I added more downward pressure than I liked, but it did eventually start charging.
Next day all charged, hit the button and it goes through a start up sequence and then nothing but the flashing ring light again. After trying a few different things I find that pressing the + or – button makes it work. But they need to be continually pressed or it stops functioning. This forces me to use my index finger to keep it pressed, awkward because they’re all on the end of the unit and it’s a little painful as well. But I solider on to only have the unit shut down after a couple of minutes. Give up in frustration.
Next day I decide to pair it to my tablet. 2 apps in the Google store and I try both to find only the DEMO version actually works. The unit isn’t on but the app tells me to turn it off. After much messing around I find that simply turning it on puts it in pairing mode and the app pairs with it eventually. I then see a graphic with a swirling animation and nothing else. So I spend a lot of time trying to understand what I’ve done wrong. Eventually I stumble on to the fact that the graphics means the device is ready to be used. It has zero settings or customization and nothing informing you that the device is ready. Just a swirling graphic.
So I use it and eventually , boom, a great orgasm. Really, I haven’t ever used a powered masturbator before, but when you get it working it’s great. Well that is as long as you don’t actually stroke with it. You can move it up a down a bit, but it’s not designed for that. Oh and the “vibration” isn’t really from a separate vibration unit. It’s created by the “sonic” unit as it fires, so there’s no settings to change the intensity or vibration pattern. Oh and you can’t change the “sonic” intensity because of having to keep a button pressed, so you just have a high and a low intensity, and the low one sucks.
So, go to use it a few days later and find that you’re forced to re-pair it or it again or it shuts down after a minute of two. I do that with the process taking at least 5-10 minutes every time. If it doesn’t have problems making the connection that is. I eventually start in and it’s going great then boom. The unit dies on me. Turns out it lost the connection to the app. Luckily getting it up and running takes a short time and I finish up. Again boom, great orgasm… eventually.
So my low rating isn’t because the unit doesn’t do it’s job because it does. Quite well actually. It’s because it’s a really poorly designed and over engineered product. There’s no reason that it has to be paired to work. None! The blue tooth adds nothing to the experience except frustration. From what I’ve seen it’s only purpose is to tell the unit not to shut down. Really? I mean WTF?!? How much extra cost is attributed to this useless feature? Could they of knocked 50 or 100 bucks off if they hadn’t devoted resources to it? More than likely. IMHO it’s a check list feature to help sell the product and nothing else. Plus the app is so piss pure with no real user feedback that the guy who wrote it should be shot. Even his graphics suck, black background with small faded red text.
As for the unit it’s self, all the buttons on one end is a PITA when you’re forced to keep a button pressed to make it work. The developer version has a useless window that lets you see inside. Why not use that hole to place the buttons there? Just align everything so a user’s fingers naturally fall there. Or better yet have the on button actually turn the thing on and then use the + and – buttons to change the intensity like virtually every other product on the market?!?
So do I recommend the product? Maybe, it does do the job, but in such a convoluted and half-assed manner I doubt I’ll use it every time I want to get off. Too much unneeded hassle. It’s like the developers and engineers missed a very important point about sex toys. When a person wants to get their rocks off through personal stimulation they don’t want to spend a lot of time preparing. This product forces a user to jump through hoops first, and the big question is why? So they can say it’s an “elite” experience when it isn’t? Yeah, more than likely…
This review was too honest for Lelo and it didn’t “meet guidelines”. Shit company,
Hello Gezzer, Thank you for sharing your experience! I was wondering how other male feels about this toy and your input is appreciated!
