SILA is very unique clit stimulator from LELO! And it’s so soft and so beautiful. It is by far my favorite clit suction toy from LELO.

What is LELO SILA?
SILA is LELO’s newest clit suction toy that embraces a soft and broad month for stimulation.
It doesn’t stimulate like a conventional vibrator. Instead, it features eight sonic wave intensity levels and a strong suction head that will progressively pleasure your clit from 360 degrees.
Key Feature of SILA by LELO
1. Soft Touch & Elegant Design
SILA is made of high-quality body-safe silicone and ABS. The moment you hold this toy at hand, you will be impressed by its ultra-soft surface. It feels like touch a baby’s skin!
This beautiful little toy comes in three colors: Baby Pink, Lilac, and Aqua.
The golden reflective layers on the side add a luxury feel to the design. It truly is a sensational feast.
- Exact Size: 80 x 75 x 35 mm / 3.1 x 2.9 x 1.4 In
2. Large Suction Month for Seamless Stimulation
SILA’s wide mouth gravitates around the center of your sweet spot, providing seamless attachment, along with comfort and satisfaction.
3. Unbelievably Powerful
Though only weight for 105g / 0.23lb, SILA is surprisingly powerful!
It emits contactless air wave stimulation, which gently penetrates through your skin and brings out the most mind-blowing orgasm.
With the 8 sonic wave intensity levels + 10 wave patterns, no doubt your climax will come in less than 3 mins.
4. 100% Waterproof
SILA is 100% submersible, which means it’s super easy to clean this toy. Also, you will be able to enjoy some wet play when taking a bath.
5. Travel-Look Included
Have you ever accidentally turned on your sex toy while traveling? Some unexpected buzz buzz noise can surely embarrass you!
With SILA, you can have peace of mind because it’s possible to lock/unlock the toy at any time!
6. Acceptable Noise Level
It’s not a quiet toy, but the noise level is acceptable. More specifically, I think it produces less noise than any other LELO’s clit suction toys .
How to Use LELO SILA?
You can control SILA with three convex buttons. And they are comfortable and smooth to press.
- To turn on the SILA, simple press the “+” button; press the same button to increase suction strength (8 levels of intensity in total)
- Press the “()” button to switch between the 8 suction modes
- To reduce the suction intensity, press the “-” button
- To turn off the SILA, press and hold the “()” button
- To lock/unlock the SILA, press and hold the “+” and “-” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the white LED light turns on
Battery-wise, it takes 2 hours to get SILA fully charged; and you can play with the toy for 2 full hours after each charge.
The user time is longer than the famous Satisfyer Pro 2 and is doubled from the 1st generation LELO Sona.
Besides, when the battery is running low, the LED on SILA will emit a blinking white light.
It is a handy function to make sure your toy is always ready when you need an orgasm.
Packaging & What’s in the Box?
The package arrived at my place in less than three days, discreetly. Upon opening the box, I discovered the following items:
- LELO SILA
- USB Charging Cable
- Satin Storage Bag
- Warranty Registration Card
- Instruction Manual
My Experience with LELO SILA: Small, Light, Yet Unbelievably Powerful!
To my surprise, I am very impressed by LELO SILA, though I’ve more than 10 different models of clit suction toys from a range of brands.
I especially like the design of the suction head. The edge of the suction head is around 1cm (0.39 inch) and this is thicker than any other suction toys I’ve used.
Besides, it has a slightly inward curve that makes sure the toy can be attached to your skin or your clit almost seamlessly.
Because of that, it’s very easy to place it, meanwhile, your hand can press it over on the labia very stably during the stimulation.
In my opinion, this is by far the best type of design for suction heads.
I wouldn’t say it’s the strongest suction I’ve ever used, however, it produces the right amount! And that’s what matters after all.
When in use, your clit will be fully wrapped in the suction head; Instead of sucking your skin in, SILA emits sonic waves onto your skin.
During this process, every little part of the clit is taken care of. It feels so pleasant and so addicting.
I’ve been truly impressed by this little gorgeous toy!
I do have some complaints about the noise it makes…
Compare to other LELO’s suction toys, there are some improvements when it comes to the noise level. However, I still find it’s a bit louder than my Womanizers.
If you just turn on the SILA (without touch the skin), it produces a similar amount of noise as Womanizer’s toy.
However, when I attach it to my skin, the noise from SILA doesn’t reduce; instead, I feel it even increased a little bit.
This is very different from any other clit toys I’ve used (e.g. Satisfyer Pro 2, Womanizer Liberty, We-vibe Melt).
For other toys, there was always a reduction of noise when the toy is attached to the skin.
I don’t know why LELO is different in this aspect, probably due to how it stimulates the clit?

What Are the Differences Between LELO SILA and SONA Series?
Along with a different device design, the design on the mouth of the SILA is also completely different.
The mouth is designed bigger and wider for extra comfort. This design also changes the feel of the sonic waves the SILA produces.
The SILA also has a wider range of vibration intensities to choose from so you can manipulate the strength of the device in more detail.
Along with that, it has 8 different vibration patterns to choose from.
The colors in which the Sona, Sona 2, and the SILA come are also all different.
For the sensation, I would say that Sona 2 Cruise is more intense than the SILA or Sona 2, especially due to its Cruise feature.
Below is a comparison regarding the specifications: SILA vs Sona 2
SILA:
- Material: Body-safe silicone, ABS

Sona 2*:

*Sona 2 Cruise includes all the features from Sona 2, with the addition of the awesome Cruise Control feature.
Many toys on the market experienced a decline in intensity when they are being pressed against your body.
This is where the Cruise feature comes into play and what makes this item so special.
When it’s pressed hard against your body it won’t drop its power, which will keep the intensity consistent automatically.
If you are someone who does not typically require a lot of pressure when using toys, the Sona or SILA may be perfectly ideal for you.
However, if you are very familiar with this issue of more pressure equating less intensity, then the Sona Cruise would be much more up your alley.
Differences Between Sila & Sila Cruise
Lelo recently launched Sila Cruise and you might be wondering what are the differences.
Basically, these two models look, feel and operate the same way.
The only difference between the Sila and Sila Cruise is the added "Cruise Control" feature.
The Cruise Control regulates the pulsation intensity and ensures there is no drop-off of power when the clitoral mouth is pressed against the body by adding a kick of power of around 20% of the device's power.
And there's only about a $10 price difference between the base model and the Cruise model.
Final Words
LELO SILA won’t disappoint you! It’s a must-try for anyone who enjoys good clit stimulation.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review for this toy. I like reading your reviews; they are very helpful.
Are you able to use the Sila comfortably with a partner? Or is this toy strictly for solo use?
Hello, thank you for your positive feedback! It’s really great to know that my review helps :).
I think SILA is mainly for solo use. But it can be an interesting toy for foreplay (e.g. nipple suction) during couple sex.
Thanks for this review !
You said that this stimulator is less agressive than other Lelo clit toys. Is it comparable as a womanizer ? Or a little bit softer/ more intense ?
Because I am really sensitive so I am used to not buy Lelo products
Hello Madie,
Despite both being clit suction toys, the technology for Lelo is somewhat different from the Womanizer ones. It’s really not an apple to apple comparison.
Personally, I really like SILA and don’t think it’s aggressive at all (Note that I do like strong clit stimulation). The mouth is very soft!
As for Womanizer, I think it depends on the models. For models like Liberty and Starlet 2, they are very gentle because they only have 4 or 6 levels of intensity. But models like Premium can be very intense because it has 12 levels of intensity. Of course, you don’t have to go all the way to the 12th level, but it’s just nice to have the option there. (You can check my comparison article to get more details)
Sila has 8 levels of intensity and I think the highest level can be as intense as the Premium. With that being that, it means the power gap between each level is slightly bigger.
Hope this extra information can help you decide better 🙂
Thank You for sharing your review! I am new to suction toys and have been wanting to make a purchase for quite some time now. I was wondering is the Sila more suction or vibrations? I am not sure what would be best first because everyone has said they are so different.
Hello Shannon,
The first one is always very special and very fun to explore :)!
SILA doesn’t vibrate. It’s suction only. It feels like the whole clit is being wrapped and stimulation comes from everywhere. Quite intense, I must admit.
And you are right! The sensation is very very different from vibration.
Great review, and I found your YouTube video comparison first which did a great job of showing the differences.
My wife has the original Lelo Sona and really loves it and uses it often. What she loves about it, is the fact that she can be done in less than 60 seconds if she wants, or can keep going until the battery runs out if she can avoid muscle cramps from all the orgasmic contractions. HA! NOTE: Using in the bathtub helps muffle the sounds a bit too… well the Sona sounds, hers not so much. HA!
Hello, I just purchased the Sila and its my first toy EVER! Currently eagerly waiting for its arrival! lol I am honestly a little nervous wondering if I am going to like it or not being that I’ve never used toys before. I’ve always been curious but never opened up myself to the idea until now! I am curious to know if you think the Sila is a great place to start or if it may be a little too intense starting out. Would love to know your feedback 🙂
Hello Hollie, congrats on getting your first sex toy! 😀
Sila is a wonderful toy. I personally really like it.
I think clit suction toys in general are a bit intense as it wraps the whole clit (you can’t escape from the stimulation once it’s on ;)).
I suggest to start from the lowest setting and then build up to the higher ones. If you still find it too intense during your 1st use, you can also try apply some lubes.
You might need to have a few try to find the perfect angle. Once you find it, it’s totally worth it!
Good luck 🙂
Jane
I’ve been curious about this toy for awhile. Way back when, my friend raved about the first Womanizer that came out, but I wasn’t ready to sink that amount of money into something I’d never seen and was unsure about. When the Satisfyer came out with their One Night Stand and a Black Friday sale rolled around a couple years ago, I figured it was cheap enough to try and I could just pitch it once it ran out of power. I tried it and there’s definitely potential, but I was unable to get a good fit for whatever reason, so it didn’t really work for me. The wide mouth on this one looks like it would solve that problem, and I’m curious as to how sonic waves would feel different than the air pulses.
Hello M, thank you for sharing! I feel Air Pulse from Satisfyer can be more” vibraty”. Different models from Satisfyer feel quite different due to the shape and design even though they all claim to use “air pulse”.
I personally think Sonic Waves is the closest to the Air Pleasure technology from Womanizer, just a bit more aggressive in the lower levels.
Hi Jane, I just bought the Silo after reading your review! I was just wondering if you’ve used it in the bath or shower before? I know it says that it’s waterproof but there as no covering for the charge port on the device and I wasn’t sure if there were going to be any issues if I get water in the charge port
Hello Jenny, good question!
I only used this specific toy in shower before (with running water, but never soak it under the water) and it was fine.
Actually, I had the same fear regarding the charging port design and asked Lelo support years ago. They told me that it shouldn’t be a problem as long as not leaving it under the water for more than 30 mins.
Thanks, I’ll give the shower a try!
