I've been testing sex toys for years and I love this job. I love the fact that some brands, such as Womanizer, keep improving themselves.
It not only makes progress on the product quality, product sensation but also is paying more attention to becoming more eco-friendly.
In this review, I am going to talk about all the 12 Womanizer toys I've tried throughout the years.
At the end of the review, I will also include a comparison table, to help you better understand the differences among each model.
Table of Contents
What is Womanizer & its Clit Stimulators?
Womanizer is the very first brand that introduced clit stimulator, which revolutionized the way how sex toys pleasure women's sweet spot.
Unlike traditional vibrators, clit stimulators wrap around the entire clit and stimulate it with contactless air puffs.
The air puffs pulse on the clit to delivers deep tissue pulsation to the clit.
What are the Shared Features Among Each Model?
1. Sleek Finish & High-Quality Materials
All Womanizer's suction heads are made of hypoallergenic medical-grade silicone, no matter which model you plan to get.
The head is the part that has direct interaction with your clit, that's why it's always made of the safest material.
The body of each toy varies in the materials it's made of - it can be either, ABS plastic or silicone.
The baseline is that all the materials Womanizer uses are free from phthalates, BPA, or latex.
2. Air Pleasure Technology
All the models are equipped with Womanizer's patented technology, called "Air Pleasure".
Basically, your clit will be massaged by some contactless air pressure; and the sensation is between pulsating and blowing.
The amazing thing about this technology is that the stimulation can be very intense as the suction head covers the whole clit and stimulate from a 360 degree; meanwhile, it will NOT over-stimulate as it never actually touches the clit directly.
One way to visualize it is to picture tapping the surface of the water with a fingertip.
The faster you tap, the stronger the ripples will be - that's kind of how pulsation delivers.
Anyway, the orgasm from this kind of stimulation is very different from a traditional vibrator. You have to give it a try to understand the difference.
3. Removable Suction Head(s)
Suction head(s) from all the models are detachable, which makes the toy easy to clean.
Also, in case you have a bigger clit, it's possible to switch to a bigger head, which gives more versatility.
4. 100% Waterproof (Except Premium Eco)
Almost all the models are 100% waterproof with IPX7 standard. It means you can submerge the toys under the water.
This feature allows a lot of extra fun, as you can use the toy while taking a bath or bring it to the beach for some wild orgasm.
The ONLY exception is the Premium Eco. It's water-resistant, meaning you can splash some drops on it, but it can't be used under the water.
5. Easy to Clean
The fact all suction heads are detachable and most models are fully waterproof makes it super easy to clean and to dry afterward.
All you need to do is wash it with either sex toy cleaner or mild soap. If you are extra cautious about the hygiene part (I am like that), you can also sanitize it with a portable sex toy UV sterilizer.
One more thing I want to mention is that bad-quality silicone can absorb smell easily and it's hard to wash off, meaning even after 10 times of wash, it may still smell a bit unpleasant, and the smell cumulates with time.
You don't need to worry about that when it comes to Womanizer's product as it uses the best-quality silicone for the head(s).
This reassures you that, as long as you wash it properly, the toy won't leave any smell, even after years.
6. Steady Magnetic Charging Cables
Womanizer is an early adapter for a new type of charging method - magnetic charging.
All the models from 2019 use magnetic USB cables for charging. The exceptions are Starlet Snow, Pro 40, and W500 - These 3 are older models.
One nice thing about magnetic charging is that it allows a more seamless design, which not only speeds up charging time but also is safer for under-the-water play.
Nowadays, most sex toy companies start to include magnetic charging, however, I must point out that not all of them are as good, despite that they somewhat look the same.
One subtle thing is that not all the magnets are strong and steady enough. For some products, such as the Ambi, it disconnects so easily when charging, even if you just slightly move it.
This can be extremely annoying because you, many times, won't notice the disconnection; and when you want to use the toy, it's actually not charged.
That's why I want to point out that the fact Womanizer has a steady magnetic cable for all the models really pleases me.
What are the Key Differences Among Each Model?
1. Various Sizes & Weights
Obviously, different models have different sizes and weights.
The heaviest toy is Womanizer Duo (88*203*158mm & 290g) and it's followed by Womanizer Premium ( 155*50* 35mm & 140g).
I find Duo to be bulky to hold, but have no complaints about the Premium.
The smallest and lightest toy is Starlet 2, Starlet 3 & Liberty. They weigh 70g, 80g, and 90g, respectively.
It's a bit unfair that Liberty didn't win the "lightest toy" contest because the extra 20g it carries comes from the travel cap. The toy itself actually is less than 70g.
Liberty is one of my faves because it's easy to carry, very discreet (thanks to the cap), and is strong enough to make me come easily.
- Liberty: 105 * 50 * 40 mm
- Starlet 2: 117 * 46 * 47 mm
- Starlet 3: 117 * 46 * 47 mm
2. Beautiful Range of Color Options
There are tons of modern color options. Sometimes, Womanizer also works with celebrities and creates limited-edition colors for certain models, such as Liberty By Lily Allen.
Regards colors, there's only one thing I want to point out.
Even with the same names, the shades of the colors can vary across the models.
For example, there are Bordeaux or Wine Red colors for Classic 2, Premium series, and Liberty. However, they look different.
Liberty has a glossy look while Class 2 and Premium series look matte. The Bordeaux for Classic 2 looks a lot darker than the others.
The blue color is used for both the Premium series and the Starlet series, but they look very different.
Baby Pink color is used for all three Premium products (1,2,& Eco), but the shades are quite different as well.
If you are someone who is color sensitive when it comes to arousal, this is something you can pay attention to.
3. Different Materials for Different Textures
As mentioned, all the suction heads are made of silicone, the differences lay on the body materials.
Starlet series and Liberty are made of ABS, that's why they have a glossy surface.
Premium Eco also has a glossy surface, but it is made of Biolene, which is a 100% recyclable and biodegradable material.
If you care about being more eco-friendly, this is the go-to model.
Classic Series is made of a combination of ABS and silicone. It has a unique finish. The material feels very soft and smooth.
It feels so close to the silicone texture that I didn't even notice that there is ABS inside.
I really like this kind of surface because it has a soft touch, meanwhile, it doesn't attract dust as easily as 100% silicone materials.
Premium, Premium 2, InsideOut, and Duo are mainly made of silicone, but all of these have a strip made of ABS, which is the golden or silver strip design.
It's just there for a luxurious look, the part you touch is fully made of silicone.
4. Intensity Levels Vary Greatly
Before purchasing a Womanizer toy, ask yourself, what kind of intensity are you looking for?
One of the biggest differences among all the models is the intensity levels.
Vibrators usually come with both intensity levels and pre-set patterns. But for Womanizer's product, there's no such thing as patterns. It's purely about intensity.
For example, Starlet 2 has 4 levels of intensity, meaning it's a gentler toy in general.
On the contrary, the newest model, Premium 2, has 14 intensity levels - this wide range of intensity can send you to the moon!
It's not necessary that more is always better. Some women actually prefer gentle stimulation since clit is a very sensitive organ, while others require a super-powerful suction to reach a divine orgasm.
All women are different, if you are looking for a gentler sensation, then models such as Starlet 2, Starlet 3, and Liberty are totally enough. They have 4, 4, and 6 levels of intensity, respectively.
Even though these models are gentler, it doesn't mean they are "weak". The air pulsation is still good enough to make you come easily.
I personally really adore super powerful stimulation, that's why I am more into models such as Classic 2, Premium Eco, and Premium 2. There have 10, 12, and 14 levels of intensity, respectively.
The good thing about a wider range of intensity is that it allows more options. I feel clit has a temper - it can want something mild on some days but has a desire for more power on other days.
It may want a soft tease during foreplay, but requires a way stronger stimulation to finish.
With more level options, it's easier to for your toy to perform optimally in different scenarios.
5. Special Features for Selected Models
There are three special features I am gonna talk about.
1. Autopilot
The Premium and Premium 2 are the only models that offer the Autopilot feature, yet it works a bit differently on these two models.
The idea of Autopilot is to automatically run through random changes of intensities - it starts with mild air pulses and gradually changes throughout your session, and you don't have to touch anything at all.
Some women love this kind of unpredictable pleasure while others don't. That's you get full control over whether or not to turn this feature on.
Basically, Autopilot is not automatically engaged when using the Premium or Premium 2, you can activate this manually with a dedicated button.
There is only 1 autopilot intensity for Premium. However, on Premium 2, there are 3 options and you can choose which Autopilot mode you would like.
If you prefer something more intense, you can select intense Autopilot and it will cycle through the more intense levels.
If you prefer something softer, you can select the soft Autopilot mode - this can all be controlled by you.
2. Smart Silence
All the 3 models from the Premium series and Womanizer Duo have this feature.
Basically, it means that your toy will only activate when it touches your skin. For the rest of the time, it will be on standby mode.
3. Afterglow
This is the newest feature Womanizer introduced and it is exclusively designed for Classic 2.
Afterglow feature enables your toy to quickly set back to its lowest setting for a relaxing end to an orgasm.
6. Clit only or Dual Stimulation?
Almost all the models are clit-only toys, except the Duo and InsideOut.
These two models include a clit sucker and a G-spot vibrator and Duo is the newer version of the InsideOut.
Womanizer is the first brand that comes up with the idea of combining clit suction and G-spot stimulation in one toy (at least that's what I am aware of).
The idea is genius, but the toy itself is a bit heavy and not that flexible.
Later on, another brand launched toys with similar ideas - Lelo Enigma.
The Enigma has a way more bendable G-spot shaft, which allows for a wider range of flexibility.
Just like the Womanizer Duo, you can also control the clit and the G-spot parts separately for Ose 2.
However, Ose 2 is even heavier and bulkier (350g) than the Duo (290g), which I am not a big fan of.
Among these three toys, I like the Lelo Enigma the most. It weighs less than 200g and has a super flexible G-spot arm. The vibration from the G-spot part is quite amazing as well.
The only drawback is that the clit and G-spot can only be turned on simultaneously.
That is not a problem for me, as I always turn both of them on at the same time anyway (Otherwise, why get a dual toy? ;)).
Regarding the clit suction sensation, I think Womanizer is still the best. The one from Ose 2 is a lot more aggressive. On the higher levels, it feels more like a super-strong vibration instead of air suction.
As for Enigma, it's not bad. The suction part feels quite close to the one Duo delivers. Lelo said their technology is called "Sonic Wave".
7. Battery Life: Short or Lasting?
Battery life varies a lot across different models. The most long-lasting ones are Premium and Premium 2, it can be used for up to 4 hours after each full charge. This is quite impressive.
I haven't really found another model that can do better than 4 hours.
The Starlet series (Snow, Starlet 2, and Starlet 3) has the shortest battery life. They only last for 30 mins after each charge.
But I want to point out that this series is designed to be a quickie, as it only takes 30 mins to get a full charge.
What about the other models? Liberty lasts for 120 mins after 60 mins of charge. Classic series last for 180 mins after 120 mins of charge. Duo lasts for 4 hours after 2 hours of charge.
8. 1 or 2 Suction Heads?
Most models include 2 suction heads (size S & M), which allows more versatility and is convenient to replace in case you lost one.
However, the Starlet series and Pro 40 only come with 1 suction head, but it's possible to purchase an extra one here in case you need one.
Please note that the heads for Starlet Snow and Pro 40 are different from the others, as they are older models.
9. Storage Options
All the models, except the Starlet series and Pro 40, has a storage option included.
There are 3 types of provided ways to store your toy.
For Liberty, a travel cap is included.
For Premium, Classic, Duo, and InsideOut, they come with a black satin pouch.
As for the most recent models - Premium 2, Eco, Classic 2 - a cotton bag is included.
Womanizer is heading towards being a more eco-responsible company.
That's why they are reducing plastics in the packaging and start to use more cotton materials.
My Experience with Womanizer's toys ( & My faves)
I have always loved clit stimulation, either during solo masturbation or couple sex.
And that's why I am crazy about external toys like clit suckers, bullet vibes, licking toys, and even pussy pumps.
My history with the Womanizer dated back to 2014 when clit suction kind of technology was first introduced.
I wasn't a big fan of the brand at that time, because the toy was so ugly and so loud!
Over the years, a great number of improvements were made and I was hooked since they launched Womanizer Pro 40, which was 2016.
Why? Because the design started to look more decent and its operating noise started to be acceptable, at least your neighbor won't hear it anymore.
Pro 40 was my go-to toy for quite some years until they launched Liberty.
Both toys have 6 levels of intensity, however, there's a change in the design of the head and the battery for Liberty, which is noticeably more enjoyable.
I hesitated for quite a while before getting the Premium as it is quite an expensive toy (almost $200), but fell in love with it from the 1st session.
The extra levels of intensity really level up the game and I truly adore these powerful air puffs sucking my sweet spots.
There's a learning curve before you can start loving clit stimulators - the angle and the position do matter.
So, if this is going to be your first time trying a clit sucker, make sure to try at least 5 times before you make your mind of whether this is YOUR TYPE OF TOY.
My current favorite model is still Premium though Womanizer has launched Premium 2.
Because Premium 2 is noticeably louder and the slight improvement for the intensity (2 extra levels) wasn't that necessary for me.
If you are looking for an under $100 toy to start with, I highly recommend Liberty.
It has up to 2 hours of battery life after a full charge and the 6 levels of intensity are pleasurable enough for most occasions.
Classic 2 is also quite good. It has a relatively more low-key design but delivers excellently. Also, the exclusive Afterglow feature really touches my heart.
The key to a good sex toy is that it must be powerful when you are building up, but it needs to stop as soon as you cross the orgasm moment.
Because right after the orgasm, your clit can be so sensitive that it doesn't want any extra stimulation.
This is what the Afterglow feature is all about. It can quickly set back to the lowest intensity right after the orgasm.
So, to conclude, while Womanizer's older models, such as Pro40 and W500 are still effective toys, I don’t find them as strong as the newer models such as Classic and Premium. Also, it's not as quiet or discreet as Liberty.
At this point, after testing almost all the Womanizer's toys, I am proud to say that my favorite ones are Premium, Classic 2, and Liberty. And my least favorite ones are Duo and Starlet 2.
Of course, these are just my personal taste.
The Ultimate Comparison Table
Due to the space and format limitation, I had to separate the tables into three.
The first table compares all the newest models - Premium 2, Classic 2, Starlet 3, and Eco.
The second table compares Premium, Classic, Starlet 2, Duo, and Liberty.
And the last table compares all the old models that are still being sold due to their popularity. They are Starlet Snow, Pro 40, and InsideOut.
If you want to see a complete table that compares all the 12 models together, you can click the picture below to download it.

Is It Worth Buying a Womanizer Toy?
Womanizer clit stimulators are widely considered the best on the market, and their price reflects their high-quality finish and continuous improvement of performance.
I was impressed by how pleasurable and how powerful the Womanizer can be after a few trial sessions and feel in love with it ever since.
Where to Buy Womanizer Clit Stimulator?
If you are located in the US, Canada, UK, EU, Switzerland, Australia, and Japan, then it's possible to buy the toy at the official site, with free shipping.
Please note the official site barely offers discounts on most models.
Therefore, if you want to save some bucks, you can check prestigious sex toy online shops such as Lovehoney and Shevibe.
Lovehoney has a great range of Womanizer's collection and it offers either free or low-cost international shipping.
Shevibe is a good option for those of you who locate in the US and Canada, especially if you want to get the newest models.
Final Words
I was quite confused before getting my 1st clit stimulator and I believe many of you are like me. That's why I wrote this review.
Hopefully, it will help you to better understand Womanizer's products and find the toy that suits you the most.
Have fun!

Good review of these products. Thanks.
Hi. I bought a Womanizer Liberty to my wife and she really loves it, but sometines she feels frustrated at level 6 because she’d love it to go higher. Could anyone say what is the intensity level of the Premium that corresponds to Liberty’s level 6? Just want to compare the intensity levels of the two and know if it’s worth upgrading to the Premium. Thank you.
Hello Yoco, glad to hear your wife enjoys the Liberty! Regarding the intensity levels, Premium has 12 levels and Premium 2 has 14 levels (the highest so far).
I have a Womanizer and is my go to toy. You’re right it does take a little practice to get the right angle. Only negative for me was I could not edge like I do with my traditional vibe. So I keep both depending on my mood LOL.
Hello Stacy, traditional vibrators definitely have their own charm. I can’t give up on them either ;).
I got my first womanizer several years ago. I lover it and it lived a long, happy life. It was the womanizer pro 40. About two months ago, it died. So, I wasted no time and forked over the dough and bought another Pro 40.
This one HURTS! It has different levels like my first one, but the lower levels don’t work very well for me, but using one level below full power or using full power, is ridiculously too strong of a suction and very painful.
My husband & I played around with it and I ended up with something that looked and felt like a rug burn on my clit. OUCH, I SAY! Why? It may be helpful to know that my clit is not a dainty little pearl that’s difficult to find (you’re welcome, first boyfriends), but it’s not huge, either.
It is the exact same model, just purchased about 4 years later. I even took the removable top off of my old one to see if that was the difference. Nope!
I’m actually mourning this a little bit.
Any suggestions for another type/brand to try?
Hello Stacey, sorry to hear your new Pro40 hurted you! Does it hurt you even on the lower levels?
Have you tried to apply some lube while using it. Lube can create a buffer that may make the suction feel less aggressive.
Are you looking for a gentler clit sucker from Womanizer or from other brand?
